DocsPDite 1.9CE
Vista/XP/Win2K Compatible Edition
Version 1.9.CE
Updated Nov 8, 2008
(For Vista and Windows 7/XP/Win2K)

We are pleased to make available version 1.9CE (stands for Compatible Edition) of DocsPDite and it works on Vista and Win 7 32 bit versions as well as XP and Windows 2000 (with latest service packs).   Note:   This version does not work on any Windows 64-bit edition.   We are working on that and hope to have a release in the coming months.

The automatic activation feature may still give some users problems due to the various security settings possible.    If that happens, send us an email from within the program to receive a manual code.    We are investigating the potential of a web-based activation process which should eliminate any issues with firewalls and other locally installed security software.

We have removed the older version 1.9K but have it if someone happens to need it.   But this is unlikely since 1.9CE works so well on both XP, Vista and Win 7.

We highly recommend upgrading to 1.9CE as it works on XP, Vista, Windows 7 and at the same time standardizes the data file locations to the "My Documents" folder where they should always be anyway.     Be sure and let us know if you encounter problems with the upgrade.     This is a free upgrade to all users.

Some of the freeware links are working now as well.   Check out the new look for our password generator, process killer, tray calendar, tray gear and updated Contacts software.

We are continuing to update all our software as time permits.    We have some new products in the works and with 1.9CE we are are ceasing development of the current version of DocsPDite and are working on its replacement.    (If you use 1.9CE, check the help file for new features we are planning)

Thanks for your interest and support
